About the Role:
We are seeking a Sales Manager who thrives on building relationships, solving problems, and uncovering new opportunities. They will manage our existing customers to ensure we are maximizing our total opportunity. This role is perfect for someone who loves being in the field, walking plant floors, asking smart questions, and finding creative ways to support customers.
Responsibilities:
- Support existing customers while growing and building strong relationships across multiple levels of large OEM customers (buyers, engineers, planners, production leaders).
- Navigate complex internal structures and decision-making processes at customer organizations.
- Visit customer plants to understand operations, challenges, and unmet needs.
- Use a consultative approach to uncover “what else they need” and identify new opportunities.
- Develop, implement, and execute a sales strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business strategy and collaborate with the leadership team to identify new opportunities.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the machining, fabrication, and related manufacturing sectors with mid-sized manufacturers and select OEMs.
- Present our custom capabilities in a clear, compelling way.
- Manage ongoing projects and ensure seamless communication with internal teams.
- Deliver proactive customer service and maintain high satisfaction with custom-made products.
- Attend customer visits, industry events, and plant tours to expand visibility.
About You:
- Proven sales and account management experience in machining, fabrication, or custom manufacturing is required.
- Strong relationship-building skills across multiple levels of a customer organization.
- Ability to navigate the complexity of large OEM environments.
- A curious, consultative approach leading you to naturally uncover hidden needs.

- A balanced mindset with a customer service first attitude, with a healthy dose of business development.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
