About Us

If it’s high-stakes, high-security, or highly complex—Oxalis is built for it. We’re a consulting and technology partner for the organizations that keep the world running: life sciences, shipyards, government agencies, health systems, aerospace programs, and manufacturers with missions too critical to fail. We serve the people behind the mission—those building, healing, defending, and delivering where it matters most. As a Platinum Solution Partner for Atlassian and a trusted systems integrator for IFS, we specialize in secure cloud transformation, IT service management, ERP modernization, and operational strategy—especially for organizations navigating compliance-heavy environments and complex change. Oxalis values thoughtful communication, ownership, and measurable outcomes.

About the Role
As a Senior Solutions Consultant, Platform Engineering Specialist at Oxalis, you will lead the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise platform infrastructure, ensuring the stability, security, and performance of systems that support business-critical data and application services. This role blends the hands-on technical responsibilities of a system administrator, platform engineer, and IT infrastructure consultant, with the customer-facing delivery mindset expected of a senior consultant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and cloud infrastructure, working directly in code, configuration, and cloud consoles to deliver and support production systems.
  • Oversee day-to-day platform operations, including system monitoring, updates, maintenance, and backup.
  • Support onboarding of internal business users and external vendors or partners, ensuring smooth integration and appropriate access.
  • Configure and enforce security protocols, including user access management, data encryption, and endpoint protection.
  • Produce ongoing compliance reports, backup strategies, and disaster recovery plans, tailored to enterprise environments.
  • Lead or support platform-related workstreams in broader IT, data, or software implementations, ensuring systems are fully integrated and reliable.
  • Translate business and operational needs into technical configuration and architectural decisions.
  • Support pre-sales scoping, solution validation, or expanding existing customer accounts.
  • Serve as a technical mentor to junior team members, helping raise the firm’s delivery capability.

About You
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience building, managing, and maintaining enterprise platforms or cloud infrastructure, preferably in high-compliance environments.
  • Strong understanding of platform architecture, IT operations, and system administration.
  • Experience with the following:
    • A major cloud provider (Azure preferred; strong AWS or GCP experience is considered relevant with willingness to ramp quickly).
    • Atlassian Cloud (Jira, JSM, Confluence).
    • Microsoft Power Platform / SharePoint / Azure.
    • Data and analytics platform like Databricks, Redshift, Tableau, or Snowflake.
    • Python.
    • ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics, IFS, or Oracle.
  • Expertise in systems integration patterns, REST APIs, data architecture, and secure cross-platform communication.
  • Experience with governance models, lifecycle planning, and architectural trade-offs in hybrid or cloud-native environments.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
  • Experience configuring and enforcing data security, access control, and compliance standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Hands-on experience with identity and access management systems, cloud automation tools, or backup/disaster recovery frameworks is preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of ITIL practices, DevOps principles, or hybrid IT support models is preferred.
  • Experience supporting public sector, defense, or regulated enterprise customers is ideal.
