About the Job

The High-Pressure Testing Technician is responsible for conducting high-pressure tests on various components, equipment, and systems to ensure they meet safety, quality, and performance standards. This role requires a strong understanding of high-pressure testing procedures, equipment operation, and adherence to safety protocols. The technician will work closely with engineering and quality control teams to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct High-Pressure Tests
  • Quality Assurance
  • Safety Compliance
  • Equipment Maintenance including routine maintenance and calibration
  • Record Keeping
  • Collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and quality control
  • Troubleshooting technical issues
  • Compliance and Regulation with industry regulations, codes, and standards
  • Continuous Improvement of self and product

About You:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional technical training or certification is a plus)
  • Proven experience in high-pressure testing or a related field (3-5 years preferred)
  • Familiarity with high-pressure testing equipment and systems
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
  • Effective communication skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 pounds)
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces if required
  • Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods
