About the Role
As our Software Engineering Leader, you’ll be a foundational member of the engineering team. You’ll lead the development of our AI infrastructure and products, hire and manage a growing team of engineers, and work closely with founders and cross-functional partners. This can be a contract or a full-time employment arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and scale a team of AI/ML engineers and full-stack developers in a hands-on, high-growth environment.
- Architect and build robust, scalable systems for training, deploying, and monitoring AI models.
- Collaborate with product, design, and research to rapidly prototype and iterate on AI-powered features.
- Champion engineering excellence, code quality, and agile development practices.
- Make key technical decisions that balance speed, scalability, and innovation.
- Help shape company culture, hiring practices, and long-term technical vision.
- Stay on the pulse of the latest AI research and tools and evaluate their practical application.
About You
- Extensive full-stack software engineering experience, with prior experience in a technical leadership role.
- Strong background in AI/ML, including experience with deep learning frameworks.
- Experience in Java, Python React JS, Devops, MongoDB, and AWS accounts is ideal.
- Comfort with continuous learning and deployment, and agile. (extreme programming, Kanban, scrum methodology)
- Startup mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, fast decision-making, and wearing multiple hats.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to handle tight deadlines.
