About the Role of Interim County Administrator

The interim County Administrator will have responsibility for financial management, budgeting, human resources, and other administrative areas and oversee management of all county facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Oversees human resources administration, finance and other administrative functions.
  • Reviews and approves departmental budgets and expenditures.
  • Collaborate with the Board, committees of the Board, and department heads to identify key priorities and develop short-term strategic plans for the county during the transition.
  • Enforces the strategy for collective bargaining and administration of all labor agreements within the County. 
  • Oversees the management and maintenance of all County facilities. 
  • Maintains communications systems and technological development within the County. 
  • Makes critical decisions during a period of transition between permanent administrators.
