Full Time
Oxalis
Senior Manager/Supervisor

Are you a strategic, hands‑on IFS consultant looking for a role where you can architect solutions, steer decision‑making, and help build a practice’s culture? If so, read on!

About Us
If it’s high-stakes, high-security, or highly complex—Oxalis is built for it. We’re a consulting and technology partner for the organizations that keep the world running: life sciences, shipyards, government agencies, health systems, aerospace programs, and manufacturers with missions too critical to fail. We serve the people behind the mission—those building, healing, defending, and delivering where it matters most. As a Platinum Solution Partner for Atlassian and a trusted systems integrator for IFS, we specialize in secure cloud transformation, IT service management, ERP modernization, and Operational strategy. We focus especially on organizations navigating compliance-heavy environments and complex change.

About the Role
As a Sr Principal Consultant at Oxalis, you lead the most complex IFS engagements in aerospace and defense, turning hard business and technical challenges into clear, durable solutions. You operate as the senior trusted advisor across the engagement, listening with empathy, shaping strategy, leading design, and owning delivery, and you are accountable for measurable outcomes that bring real value to the organizations behind critical missions.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Outcomes

  • Lead engagements end-to-end, from discovery and requirements through configuration, migration, deployment, adoption, and post-go-live support.
  • Listen carefully and surface the real problem behind the stated one; analyze processes, systems, and workflows; design tailored IFS solutions that align with customer goals.
  • Translate complex technical and operational concepts into clear recommendations for executive, technical, and end-user audiences.

IFS Delivery, Maritime, and Aerospace & Defense

  • Lead IFS Apps 10 to IFS Cloud upgrade engagements end-to-end, including version-gap analysis, scoping and estimation, build, data migration, cutover, and hypercare.
  • Decide which customizations to retire, re-platform, or rebuild, reducing technical debt as part of the upgrade.
  • Architect solutions across the customer's IFS domains: MRO and asset management, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and projects.
  • Embed ITAR, DFARS, and security and compliance requirements into the upgrade architecture, access model, and deployment approach.
  • Coordinate customerʼs internal teams, third-party technology and service vendors, and IFS Customer Success into a single delivery plan.

Leadership

  • Own delivery performance across multiple engagements against scope, schedule, budget, quality, and margin; manage risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations proactively.
  • Lead and mentor consultants and technical specialists, guiding them through high-stakes delivery.
  • Lead workshops, design sessions, executive readouts, and change management activities that keep the work moving.
  • Advise the customer's CIO and steering committee on status, risk, and the decisions that protect outcomes.
  • Make the hard calls — staffing changes, scope conversations, escalations — when they protect customer outcomes and Oxalis's interests.

Pursuit and Practice Growth

  • Partner with Customer Growth and Sales during pre-sales: discovery, solution shaping, estimates, and proposals; bring empathy and curiosity to uncover what truly matters to a buyer.
  • Carry a sales-attribution target by expanding the value Oxalis delivers to existing customers and helping win new IFS opportunities.
  • Represent Oxalis with credibility and confidence in customer and prospect conversations.

Internal Contributions and Personal Growth

  • Improve Oxalis's IFS tools, templates, and delivery methodologies; leave the practice better than you found it.
  • Establish and grow the IFS capabilities as a practice area within Oxalis.
  • Mentor consultants, share what you learn, and contribute to communities of practice.
  • Stay curious about IFS, the aerospace and defense industry, and the evolving compliance landscape; bring fresh thinking back into engagements.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Several years leading IFS upgrade and migration engagements, including IFS Applications 10 to IFS Cloud, ideally within a broader extensive ERP delivery career.
  • Demonstrated delivery within U.S. aerospace and defense customers, with fluency in maritime and A&D operating models such as MRO, project-based manufacturing, and complex supply chains.
  • Multiple IFS Certified Practitioner (IFS Cloud) credentials across the priority domains, with Asset Management and Manufacturing as the leading areas, plus coverage of Supply Chain, Financials, and Projects.
  • Working knowledge of security and compliance in regulated defense industry environments, including FIPS 140-2/140-3, NIST SP 800-171, CMMC 2.0, and DFARS 252.204-7012.
  • Proven experience partnering with IFS Customer Success, third-party vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver complex programs.
  • Strong project and time management skills; ability to balance multiple engagements without dropping quality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with a track record of engaging executive and technical stakeholders.
  • A bias for ownership: you see what needs doing and you do it, rather than waiting to be told.
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined under ITAR (22 CFR 120.62); U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident. An active security clearance is preferred, but not required for this role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • IFS Certified Practitioner – Technical Consultant or Technician (IFS Cloud), for platform and upgrade depth.
  • Progression toward IFS Certified Expert level in one or more domains.
  • Prior IFS Applications 10 or legacy IFS credentials, or equivalent hands-on depth.
  • PMP certification.
  • Prosci change management certification (ADKAR).
  • Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53 and, for cloud-hosted IFS, FedRAMP and DoD Impact Levels(IL2/IL4/IL5).
  • Experience mentoring and coaching consultants on delivery and craft

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 05/31/2026
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
