About the Job

The Quality Manager will provide total quality leadership to all customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. This role will be responsible for the execution of the organization’s quality standards.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the auditing of internal Quality Systems and industry quality system requirements, perform reviews to evaluate results and present to leadership as necessary
  • Manages the Quality / customer interface to proactively assure requirements are understood and satisfied
  • Develop part submission documentation according to customer requirements
  • Monitors production part approval (PPAP) documentation to assure that customers’ requirements are met in new or modified products and processes
  • May lead plant APQP activity
  • Leads implementation of the appropriate Quality Management Systems throughout the Company
  • Provides quality leadership and support in the development and launch of new products
  • Manages the day-to-day activity of quality department staff

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Has the responsibility to stop any product delivery in case of a non-conformance of customer expectations, safety, or environmental risks.
  • Oversee the production of and maintenance of operator job instructions.
  • Serve as the Management representative for the Quality team.

About You

Qualifications, Experience, and Specific Skills Required:
  • Education/Experience
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a technical field from an accredited institution. 
  • Specific Skills
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
    • Ability to read and interpret drawings to ensure an understanding of the quality parameters and product requirements of parts. 
    • Experience in quality tools and process/production control methods including but not limited to: APQP, Control, GD&T, PPAP, 8-D Problem Solving.
