Girls Group is a non-profit organization with a vision to end generational poverty by guiding economically and socially disadvantaged young women reach their full potential. Our mission is to empower young women to achieve emotional and economic self-sufficiency by ensuring they graduate from high school and begin their college or career journeys. We provide comprehensive support through mentoring, life skills workshops and educational enrichment programs. Our work supports young women in middle school through high school and beyond to develop the confidence, leadership skills and resilience needed to succeed in life.

About the Job

The Program Coordinator will play a pivotal role in planning, implementing and overseeing select programs and activities. This position requires a dynamic individual who is passionate about youth development and has experience in program coordination. The Program Coordinator will work closely with staff, interns, volunteers and community partners to ensure the successful delivery of programs.

Position Responsibilities:

 
  • Develop, plan and coordinate a variety of programs and activities, collaborating with schools, community organizations and other partners to improve impact and outreach.
  • Support training, manage tasks and lead a team of part-time staff.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all program participants.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to improve outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of program activities, participant progress and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant procedures and standards in program implementation.

About You:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years beyond any internship experience in program or project coordination.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
