About Us
If it’s high-stakes, high-security, or highly complex—Oxalis is built for it. We’re a consulting and technology partner for the organizations that keep the world running: life sciences, shipyards, government agencies, health systems, aerospace programs, and manufacturers with missions too critical to fail. We serve the people behind the mission—those building, healing, defending, and delivering where it matters most. As a Platinum Solution Partner for Atlassian and a trusted systems integrator for IFS, we specialize in secure cloud transformation, IT service management, ERP modernization, and operational strategy—especially for organizations navigating compliance-heavy environments and complex change. Oxalis values thoughtful communication, ownership, and measurable outcomes.

About the Role
As an Atlassian Solutions Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in shaping how clients envision and adopt better ways of working across IT, software development, and the business.

You’ll operate at the intersection of sales and delivery—partnering with Account Executives and consulting teams to design solutions that span enterprise strategy, service management, and enterprise work management. This role requires both technical depth and strong business acumen: you should be comfortable whiteboarding system architecture with IT leaders while also guiding executives through operating model transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales to qualify opportunities, understand customer challenges, and shape solution strategies aligned to business outcomes.
  • Lead discovery sessions focused on workflows, operating models, and tooling across IT, engineering, and business teams.
  • Design and deliver tailored demonstrations and solution narratives across Atlassian platforms (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, etc.).
  • Translate customer needs into scalable solution architectures spanning Agile delivery, ITSM, and enterprise work management.
  • Articulate the value of modern ways of working: connecting portfolio management, DevOps, and service management into a cohesive story.
  • Provide technical validation and guidance throughout the sales cycle, ensuring solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned to best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with delivery teams to ensure continuity from presales to implementation.
  • Contribute to RFP/RFI responses with clear, structured solution approaches and supporting technical detail.
  • Stay current on Atlassian capabilities, marketplace ecosystem, and evolving trends in work management and service delivery.

About You
  • Demonstrated experience in presales, solutions engineering, or consulting within SaaS or enterprise software.
  • Strong experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management) and their application across IT, software, and business teams.
  • Working knowledge of Agile, ITSM, and/or DevOps practices and how they translate into tooling and workflows.
  • Experience designing and presenting solutions that connect technical capabilities to measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical stakeholders and executive audiences.
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems into clear solution approaches.
  • Comfort managing multiple opportunities and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have
  • Experience working in a consulting, professional services, or client-facing environment, with exposure to delivering solutions across multiple customers or industries.
  • Hands-on experience configuring or administering Atlassian Cloud or Data Center environments.
  • Understanding of integration patterns, APIs, and the Atlassian Marketplace ecosystem.
Experience supporting clients in complex or regulated environments, such as:
  • Public Sector or Defense.
  • Manufacturing or Aerospace.
  • Energy and Utilities.
  • Healthcare or Life Sciences.
  • Relevant certifications, such as:
    • Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP).
    • ITIL Foundation or equivalent ITSM certifications.
    • Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP, etc.).
    • Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 05/31/2026
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
